- We pay our highly-experienced and highly-skilled staff very well to put love and care into our products and service. Our minimum wage is $14/hr, Cashiers average $15+, Kitchen staff average $16+, and Managers average $20+.

- Our fried meats and seafoods are hand-battered and cooked fresh to order.
- Chef Toy seasons and marinates our BBQ Ribs before he slow-smokes them and slices them. He bakes and carves our Turkey, and he butchers, seasons, and braises our Turkey Necks. Every Thursday he makes Orange Chicken sauce from scratch, and he makes authentic fried rice on the flat top griddle to accompany it.
- Chef Deloris seasons our Roasted Lemon Pepper Chicken and Baked Fish. She makes the glaze for our Candied Yams, and she makes our Mississippi Pot Roast and Broccoli Cheese Casserole from scratch.
- Toy and Chef Stephanie take turns pulling leftover Fried Chicken to put in our homemade Fried Chicken Pot Pie. Toy and Deloris also take turns pulling our leftover Spicy Chicken to put on the Salad Bar.
- Chef Patricia bakes fresh Cookies, Cobblers, and Brownies and prepares our homemade Banana Pudding.
- Our Ice Cream is 100% dairy. Most soft serve ice cream is a dry powder mix that you add water to, but ours is real melted ice cream that comes in a milk jug and has to be frozen before serving.
- We stock only name-brand condiments like Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce, Ken's Honey Mustard, A1 Steak Sauce, Heinz 57, Louisiana Hot Sauce, Crystal Hot Sauce, and Tabasco.
